When users first open the app, they are greeted with a simple budgeting chart that shows a total budget of $5,000, with $2,000 already spent. The chart also provides a clear comparison of income versus expenses.
For more detailed information, users can access a drop-down menu where expenses are categorized into five basic groups. Each category is color-coded—green, yellow, or red—to represent the financial status, making it easy to assess spending at a glance.
Clicking on a category under the allocated budget takes the user to a detailed breakdown of that category. A pie chart displays how funds are distributed across its subcategories, along with a list of the most recent transactions.
A tab system was implemented to allow users to quickly navigate between expenses, income, goals, and subscriptions, with the most recent transaction from each category displayed directly below.
When clicking on an expense, the user is taken to a list of transactions associated with that specific vendor.
When clicking on an income, the user is taken to a list of transactions associated with that specific vendor.
When clicking on a goal, the user is taken to a chart that shows their progress toward the goal, along with a list of deposits contributing to it.
